Team Arabs With Altitude departed Namche Bazar and made the beautiful trek to Tame, the home town of our Sirdar, Kami Rita Sherpa. There we visited the local Monastery and Kami's parents house where he grew up. Our reception and the hospitality in Thame was exceptional. Kami's parents invited us in for a fine Sherpa tea and the monks showed us around the monastery, sharing two thousand year old prayer books with us and explaining much of their way of life.
